Couples, Family and Individual Counseling

Sage brings twenty-five years working with couples and individuals in private practice and holds family therapy licenses in Washington and Idaho. She graduated in Counseling and Family Therapy (M.S.) from Seattle Pacific University in l996. Her work with couples is grounded in training using several theoretical orientations, most notably systems theory and the Gottman Method. Work as a school counselor continues to inform her understanding and commitment to assisting teens and supporting parents.

Sage utilizes Narrative/post-modern and cognitive behavioral techniques to collaborate with individuals, couples/families and teens to identify and address communication challenges with skill, compassion and care.
